New Year Resolutions

At the beginning of a new year, many people around the world make a decision or make a promise to themselves to do something. This promise to do something is called a resolution.
The word resolution is a noun and can be used in a sentence like this:
My resolution for 2013 is to improve my health.
My resolution is to learn how to cook.
His resolution is to quit smoking.

The verb form is resolve. For example,
I resolve to improve my health this year.
I resolve to learn how to swim.
I resolve to study English regularly in 2013.

Do you make resolutions at the beginning of the year? Do you follow through with your resolutions? What is your resolution for 2013?
